Blessing Backpacks

Blessing Backpacks is a project to make a difference for those who may have lost their homes and have no shelter.

Most of us have many things to be thankful for. This is an opportunity to share our fortune with others.

Blessing Backpacks is a tangible idea to be carried out with your help.  It’s a simple plan to directly help someone in our neighborhoods who may have lost their jobs, home or need some help in order to get back on their feet.

How it Works:

  1. You go to the nearest store/thrift shop that carries backpacks, or you may already have a gently used adult backpack which could be the first part of your donation.
  2. You go to a dollar store, local drug store, walmart, or grocery store and fill the backpack with small things that people need when they don’t have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or refrigerator.
  3. Drop-off site is Falls Community Church, 633 Buffalo St., Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085. Be sure to call 920-467-2480 For drop-off time. (LEAVE MESSAGE)
  4. Blessing Backpacks will be distributed to those in need by the Salvation Army Emergency Lodge.

If you don’t want to do the shopping, but still want to help, you can send a donation to Falls Community Church, Attention, Mission Team, for whatever amount you choose. Please note on the memo line: Blessing Backpacks.
