Wednesday Worship in the Park
All are welcome to participate in Worship in the Park. Throughout the Summer, June through August, this community worship celebration will gather on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 6.30-7.30pm, at the Shelter in River Park, Sheboygan Falls. The casual celebration will include simple songs, Bible readings, prayers, and a brief meditation. These events, beginning on Wednesday, June 9th, are sponsored by Falls Community Church, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
We gather together on Sunday mornings at 9.30am to celebrate together the gift of life that we receive from God. We worship in the "free spirited" tradition of our ancestors in faith. That is, we are free to worship God in ways that communicate our contemporary understanding of God's Word and God's loving work in our world. Of course, we cherish and use words and music from our past. Even so, we also celebrate with the sounds and words and images that form our lives today in the 21st century.
In a variety of ways, we gather to mature in our journey of life with God. We want to practice more faithfully the generous and gracious actions that are rooted in the way of Jesus in this world that we learn from the Bible.
During the school year, after worship on Sunday mornings, we have Spirit Club for children, Youth Spirit! group for middle and high school youth, and an Adult Bible Study.
Throughout the year, there are also other groups, activities, service projects, and faith-forming opportunities that help us to share the good news of Jesus with one another and with our neighbors in Sheboygan County (and even around the world!).
